Erta's Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 jar Erta’s Simple Sauce
  • 1 lb spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
  • 2 cups stale bread, torn
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1/4 cup grated romano cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbs olive oil

Directions

In a bowl combine the torn bread and water, squeezing until all the bread is moistened. Discard any extra water if needed. Add the beef, garlic, romano, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix very well, working the bread into the meat mixture until fully combined. Roll into meatballs using about 3 tbs of meat per ball. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides. Pour in the Erta’s Simple Sauce, bring to a gentle simmer, and cook until the meatballs are fully cooked through. Serve over spaghetti with plenty of sauce.
